I have to admit at first I didn’t particularly like the idea of the game as I am not a huge fan of zombies in general. However after a few turns the game turned out to be loads of fun.
You have to fight armies of zombies every time you add a tile to the game. Each time more zombies appear you have to fight your way through them if you want to grab the extra bullets and lives available, which you will need.
It’s most likely that you’ll die at least once during the game but not to worry as you reappear back in the middle of the board with your full quota of lives and half of the zombie trophies that had been collecting throughout the game.
The aim of the game is simple, either kill 25 zombies without dying or make it safely to the helipad. Beware however as the ultimate warrior zombie awaits you there.
You can choose to make it even harder for your rival human players as you decide where the zombies go during the last phase of your turn and the dice roll determines how many of them will move about. This means you can move each available zombie one space closer to your opponents each turn, which is great for blocking passage ways so that they go through without a fight!

Best bit about this game for me was the artwork, it's funny, extremely gruesome and very well drawn. My favourite card for the artwork alone is the ‘butter fingers’ card, it’s really nasty...
It’s a funny game to play too with zombies popping out all over the place and you never know where you’re going really until the next tile comes out, which is random of course. I was gutted the first time I played as I had killed 23 zombies and threw a load a of crappy dice rolls so I lost all my bullets, lives and then re-spawned with half of my zombie trophy kills. I only needed to kill 2 more zombies to win. Grrrrrrr. I mean 'braaaaaiiiiiiins...'
